Standard First Aid CPR C AED

Standard First Aid CPR C AED is a comprehensive two-day course providing first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) skills for those who need training due to work requirements, who want more knowledge to respond to emergencies, or for anyone who wants the skills to save a life. This broad, in-depth course will give you hands-on experience and realistic scenarios to prepare you for additional life-threatening medical emergencies.

This course meets WSIB first aid requirements for a workplace with 6 or more staff and certification is valid for 3 years. Each participant will receive a first aid booklet and certification card upon completion.

The Standard First Aid CPR C AED course is a legislative requirement. One person must have this training where more than five people work at any given workplace on any one shift.

Emergency First Aid CPR C AED 

Emergency First Aid CPR C AED will teach you how to identify and treat life-threatening emergencies in individuals such as cardiac arrest, choking and bleeds. A real hands-on course that will teach you proper techniques to save a life. The basic one-day course offering is an overview of first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) skills for the workplace or home.

This course meets WSIB first aid requirements for a workplace with less than 6 employees and certification is valid for 3 years. Each participant will receive a first aid booklet and certification card upon completion.

Emergency First Aid CPR C AED training is a legislative requirement. One person must be trained in emergency first aid if 5 or less people work at a given workplace on any shift.

Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR & AED 

Basic Life Support (BLS CPR & AED) is offered to any healthcare provider (such as Dentists, Registered Respiratory Therapists, Physicians, PSW's, etc) in direct patient care environments.

The objectives of the BLS program is to facilitate the lifesaving skills, such as cardiopulmonary resuscitation, the use of an AED, and the use of a bag valve mask for proper ventilation. The training includes one and two rescuer situations for adults, children and infants, the use of an AED and a bag valve mask and choking.

BLS CPR & AED is required annually for most professionals.

CPR C & AED

CPR provides the skills needed to recognize and respond to cardiovascular emergencies and choking for adults, children, and babies depending on the level of CPR chosen. Courses meet legislation requirements for provincial/territorial worker safety and insurance boards, and include the latest CPR guidelines and training in the use of an automated external defibrillator (AED). CPR can help save the life of another person and while not a difficult skill to learn, a CPR course prepares participants to be as effective as possible while providing care to someone in need.

This course teaches participants how to manage an emergency scene, how to recognize a heart attack, and how to respond when someone stops breathing.

CPR C & AED covers resuscitation for adults, children, infants, and two-rescuer CPR.

First Aid & CPR Party

The First Aid & CPR Party for Friends and Family is conducted in the comfort of your own home. Those who participate in this at-home CPR training will learn to provide CPR and relieve choking and some basic first aid steps for common household injuries.

This course is intended for new or expecting parents, their family members, and friends, and for family members of patients at risk for sudden cardiac arrest or for anyone who wants to learn basic rescue skills for loved ones.

This course features hands-on skills and theoretical knowledge and is intended for up to 10 participants.

No certificates will be issued.

Lunch & Learn Workplace Discussions

We'll come to your workplace and teach the team how to identify life-threatening medical emergencies based on the specific signs and symptoms. We educate your staff on how to best treat the patient until the arrival of emergency services. Our presentations are designed to inform your team in an entertaining and stimulating environment.

We will do our best to accommodate any needs you may have. This workplace course can be accommodated within the lunch hour. Participants are welcomed and encouraged to enjoy their lunch while learning this new and important information.

  • Most topics can be taught in 15- or 30- minute time slots
  • Minimum one hour training (combine multiple topics to create your lesson)
